The 2019 RAM has undergone multiple changes. Let’s start with the engine lineup: the 2019 RAM 1500 now offers a new eTorque mild hybrid system on the second generation 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 and 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engines. This is the widest use of mild hybrid technology in the segment! With this innovative technology, there are now significant gains in fuel efficiency and responsiveness with the addition of the 48-volt battery pack that enables quick and seamless start/stop function. The 2019 RAM 1500 also sees design and structure changes, such as a new class-exclusive air suspension and a structure that is now 225 pounds lighter than before.
